One of my favorite Christian songs just played through the speaker. When I hear this song, I stop and breathe into my soul the depth of the words. “Is He Worthy” by Andrew Peterson. As I listen, my heart overflows with God Almighty, who is MY GOD and HIS EXISTENCE in my life. A life NOT PERFECT! One not free from the guilt of sin nor the cares of this life. Yes, there are MOUNTAINS that seem impassable, whether climbing or tunneling through. There are storms, at times, the waves are about to overtake me, as I drown in my woes. As this song played, my mind went back to Jesus and the woman who was to be stoned; accused and sentenced to death. Her accusers in front of her, with stones in hand, ready to pelt the very life out of her. BUT JESUS, GOD IN FLESH, was there and ON TIME. The famous sentence stated, “He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” The stones put down and it was just her and Jesus. My mind envisioned Jesus lovingly extending his hand to help her up. She accepts and then looking into those eyes of pure love, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! Is that not what God does for us? How often, in our pits of despair, HE EXTENDS HIS HAND TO LIFT US OUT! Always there…. right on time! Then forgives and NEVER to remind us again of that sin….as far as the East is from the West, FORGIVEN. Just a little side note, not profound, the reminding comes from Satan.
As the song continued and the scene played, in my head, of Jesus lovingly forgiving, the question came, “Are we worthy of this? NO!
Let the words of this song penetrate your heart and I know, you along with me, will shout, “HE IS WORTHY”!

Does the Father truly love us? (He does)
Does the Spirit move among us? (He does)
And does Jesus, our Messiah hold forever those he loves? (He does)
Does our God intend to dwell again with us? (He does)

From every people and tribe, every nation and tongue, He has made us a kingdom and priests to God to reign with the Son!
