The photo is the 2015 World Series celebration for the KC Royals at Union Station in Kansas City, MO.  Donna was determined to go, and of course I couldn’t let her go alone (which she threatened to do) so we were there.  In fact, I can point to the spot that Donna and I were standing, but still can’t see our faces.

Do you ever feel like when God looks down from heaven this is kind of what He sees? You feel as though your just lost in that crowd and God can’t even see your face?  It is a big world and at times we may feel disconnected to our Father in heaven.  That is a lie, and Satan wants us to believe that God doesn’t know us personally.

The Bible makes it clear that we have a very personal relationship with the Father and knows me, and everything about me, and still loves me as His own.  Psalms 139 says He knew me before I was born.  Matthew 10:30 says He even knows the number of hairs on my head, and if you look around you know that number is different for us all.  What that means is God knows me.  Psalms 56:9 says God is for me.  The point I’m trying to make is when God looks down, He doesn’t just see a huge crowd of people, He sees each of us personally and knows everything about me, what I’m going through, and He cares.

I am learning that God is so into me and wants to bless me and is so patient and willing to meet me anywhere anytime.  So why then at times do I feel like a face in the crowd?  The same reason you become disconnected with people in this world.  When you lose contact.  You quit communicating.  When that happens we simply become disconnected.

I have to stay connected to the Father every day, through prayer, Bible reading and constant communication.  When I stay close to the Father I learn just how much He wants to be a part of my life and how fun that life can be.

What I’m saying is this, when I seek Him first in everything, He leads me, encourages me and gives me the desires of my heart.  Don’t forget that God delights in giving us things we desire.  He just wants us to seek Him first.  That’s exactly what Matthew 6:33 says, that when I seek Him first, all these things will be added to me.  What I’m learning is that when I seek Him first then all of life seems to make much more sense.  I am learning to trust Him more and believe that God is for me and knows me.  So please know that God loves you and everything about you.  He paid a huge price to be in a personal relationship with you personally.  Would you Join With Me as I seek the Father?
