I love the phrase, “All because two people fell in love.” As I sit and write this post, I can see a wall in our family room. On that wall are pictures of our four children at four weeks old. There is a picture of those four as grown adults, which I cherish. Then on a shelf are pictures of our grandchildren, each one when they were 4 weeks old. Nestled among those pictures on the shelf is a framed picture of Rayburn and me. Then to finish the grouping, is a wall art of “All because two people fell in love.”

As I sit here pondering that phrase, my mind goes back in time, actually 39 years ago, when Rayburn and I fell in love, fell hard and fast! It is a special “Love Story” ordained by God. I have written in detail that love story in the book that I am writing, My Journey, One of Faith and Hope.

Thinking more deeply into that phrase. I ponder another thought. Our family, I am convinced, that God has blessed because before Rayburn and I ever met, we were in love with Jesus. Two young people seeking Jesus, loving him and wanting HIS WILL in our lives. God orchestrated the meeting of those two lives. A game of ping pong at The Wilds of North Carolina, a divine appointment in the game of life. That appointment, 39 years ago, God knew by first loving him, we would love each other and in loving each other, HE,in his grace, would give us four gifts from above, Carmen, Chris, Kaylan and Corbin. These gifts entrusted to us which over the years have multiplied giving those special gifts, GRANDCHILDREN, Carter, Grace, Houston, Hazel and Henry. ALL BECAUSE TWO PEOPLE FELL IN LOVE! A product of our love, but most important God’s love.

BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
