When we experience tension in our life and in our heart, the beautiful opportunity for growth and stretching is present. In the tension and the uncomfortableness we are being established by God, IN HIS GLORY. In these moments we have a choice to press into him for the answers we need. The more we press into him in these times, the more he presses out of us the impurities of our heart. That is why when it is hard, we have to turn to him to make us “whole-ly” and complete. The blessing IS on the other side of the valley. Let him drive out the enemies in our heart. He desires that for us.
“But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” I Samuel 16:7
“But the Lord,” remember that. He IS waiting to exercise your heart and to stretch your faith in him. Do believe it and do you trust him enough to do what he says he will do? Seek my heart Lord, show me what you see in me, make me new, is something I ask of him, DAILY!
The posture of our heart is critical. We must position it in a way that we are able to willingly give it to him and to also receive from him. He sees past the shape of us and our bodies into the very essence of who we are. Our God isn’t concerned about our fitness level or even our appearance…..he is concerned about the state of our heart and the condition of our soul.
Our discomfort is what activates His breakthrough…LET HIM! It is all about the heart…..HE IS LOOKING TO TRANSFORM IT.
“Listen carefully, my dear child to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.” Proverbs 4:20-22 TPT
I pray that as you have the opportunity to move your body, you keep you heart in mind. That the Lord would meet you and show you WHERE HE IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN.
