Where is your special place that you love spending some quiet time? For me, my favorite is anywhere outdoors. But for the outdoors, there must always be a Plan B. My Plan B is my “window seat.” The above picture is my “window seat.” When the weather does not permit me to be outside, this is truly the closest I can get.
There are times I come to my window seat overjoyed with the honor and praise that I am meeting my Savior, my friend, Almighty God. There are times I come with questions. There are times I come with no expectations, I come out of habit to satisfy a checklist. That truth grieves my heart. There are times I come upset, angry with the crying of my heart so loud that I miss what God had for me. There are times I come burdened and instead of placing that burden(s) at my Savior’s feet, I pack them back up, throw them onto my shoulders, only to carry again and I know this grieves my Heavenly Father!
Where ever your special place is, the important thing is to make that time and come, sit at HIS FEET. Chat with HIM sharing your heart. There is one thing for certain, HE WILL NEVER FAIL TO SHOW UP, NEVER!
