It is early morn. Rayburn is in his office and I hear him sneeze. Through the walls of our home, I say, “Bless you!”
As I am about to pick up my Bible, my thoughts quickly turn to the many ways Rayburn has been a blessing to me. He is a gift from above, THIS I KNOW! He is a genuine soul who loves Jesus, his family and others. As these thoughts came to my mind, my thoughts also turned to JoinWithMe.life. This is a platform born out of Rayburn’s heart while reading in II Timothy 1:8.
I, too, am blessed. I love to write, although I do not claim to be a writer. I am blessed to have been given a platform to share thoughts, struggles and victories as I journey through life. I thanked my heavenly Father and whispered a word of thanks for Rayburn. For being obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and Join With Me.life coming to “life.”
I then opened my Bible for my scheduled reading and my reading was Isaiah 63:7, which states, “I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which He is to be praised, according to ALL the Lord has one for us-yes the many good things.”
Too often we dwell on negative, the pits of despair, when God wants us to dwell on His goodness. He wants us to proclaim that goodness and kindness. To LIVE BOLDLY, unashamed to PROCLAIM the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living.
I am thankful for Rayburn, not perfect, but so perfect for me. He is not afraid to dream and, in the dreaming and being obedient to God, JoinWithMe.life was born.
God not only is fulfilling the desires of Rayburn’s heart, but my heart as well.
To God be the glory, great things HE HATH DONE, IS DOING and WILL CONTINUE TO DO.
I will proclaim HIS kindnesses until He calls me home and after I am gone, maybe, just maybe, my writings will continue that proclamation.
