When my mother passed, I was given a small inheritance from her. I wish my mother would have enjoyed life more, but she was so fearful that she would outlive her money. Money that she had worked hard for, to sustain those golden years. The investment that my mother left me, I still do not refer to as my money. It will always be my mother’s money. It is an inheritance kept here on this earth, which could be wiped away with the crash of the Stock Market.
This inheritance is very different from my heavenly inheritance. I am a child of the King, my inheritance is steadfast and sure. It can NEVER perish, spoil or fade. So with that thought, what inheritance do I have in Heaven? ETERNAL LIFE!!!! FOREVER IN HEAVEN WITH GOD ALMIGHTY!
Unlike my earthly inheritance, my inheritance in Christ CAN NEVER be taken away or destroyed.
This promise is our HOPE and sustains us through whatever trial we face in this life. Do you have this HOPE? This promise can be yours but you must realize that Jesus is God, see yourself as a sinner, in need of a Savior. Accepting Jesus’ finished work on the cross and HIS VICTORY over death, with this acknowledgement in your heart, the inheritance of ETERNAL LIFE is reserved for you. As stated in I Peter 1:3-4, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you.” A precious promise, our HOPE……..HEAVEN WITH GOD ALMIGHTY, for ALL ETERNITY. With that my heart can sing, when I pause to remember, a heartache here, is but a stepping stone. Along the path that’s winding always upwards. Most important choice one will ever make, Heaven or Hell. Please choose Heaven. Jesus is tenderly calling! Just think for all eternity, FOREVER and forever is a very long time, Heaven WILL BE HOME, our FINAL HOME!
